1.) Finally! Beautiful functionality for a wide screen notebook

If you are shopping for a bag that fits the more unusual dimensions of a wide screen notebook (my notebook is w16" x h12"), this one is for you.
I ordered my bag via Amazon. It arrived on time, very well packaged and in addition it was stored in a black, soft Mobile Edge bag to protect it from scratches. This protecting bag has Velcro closures so you can use it again if necessary. Inside the lay-out is as described under technical details and as shown in the various pictures. I chose this type of bag because
- I like the look of a large, stylish, elegant hand bag vs. computer bag
- the inside provides the same functionality as other computer bags
- the price was appropriate
Make sure to check the dimensions of your computer before you buy the larger size of this bag (it comes in a smaller version). And yes, it is indeed rectangular in shape.

I needed a large tote for my Dell Inspirion 9200 17" laptop-- not an easy item to find. I ordered this item and was very pleasantly surprised! The bag is really nice looking- perfect for business meetings and and the best thing is that it doesn't LOOK like a 'computer bag'. It's made really well and even has four metal 'feet' on the bottom to protect the bottom of the bag. Several people have commented on the great 'style' of the bag as I pulled out my laptop in meetings and they were quite amazed. Since large handbags are still really in style, it fits perfectly! Also, for most women, the 'black hole' problem we have with handbags is solved with the nice suede-like RED lining with lots of pockets and places to stash our 'stuff'. I actually don't have to carry a seperate handbag and everything fits in this one. I recommend it to business women who have a large laptop and want to avoid the bulky briefcase look.

I bought this to carry my 13" macbook, as well as my law school books. Everything fits great, including the power supply and an external mouse. The style is great - I've had many compliments on how nice the bag is, plus I feel so chic walking around with it. The several pockets and pen holders help keep me organized (which is a feat in itself). I highly recommend this bag to any woman needing a stylish laptop bag for work.

I looked everywhere for a stylish bag that would hold my 17" Powerbook. Acme has very hip designs, but no 17" tote. After discovering Mobile Edge (which has two 17" bag styles), I settled on the Milano. I couldn't be more pleased. Now when I need to carry my Powerbook along, I don't have to carry both a computer bag and a purse. And I don't have to give up style! Best of all, when travelling, I can take a regular carry-on for my clothes, and take my Powerbook in my "purse"... the Milano handbag. Once off the plane, I can hook it to my rolling carry-on and maneuver through the airport with ease. Big thumbs up!

This is a great bag. I thought the price was reasonable and you would be suprised how much stuff (files, dvd's mp3's) you can fit in there even after your 17" screen lap top is inside. I have gotten nothing but compliments on it. This bag is a good buy.

This tote is very roomy. It has space for not only my laptop, but my cosmetics, notepads, cell phone and other small items. It removes the need for a purse or portfolio.

When I purchased my laptop (Toshiba P205, 17" screen), I had no idea how difficult it would be to find a carrying case for it. I had ordered another bag that was supposed to fit, but I would have been stretching it to fit. The large Milano looks great, fits my laptop perfectly, and the red interior makes it so easy to find everything.
I can't say enough good things about this bag - it's perfect for every stylish business woman!

I just got a 15.4" widescreen laptop and it barely fit in my old bag. I had researched and read reviews of several bags. Finally decided on this one. It holds my laptop with a little room to spare and that is perfect for me. As a math teacher, I not only have papers to carry home but calculators as well. I can put everything I need for school in it and have no reason to carry a second bag - exactly what I needed. The inside is very soft and has pockets and places for all your needs. The straps feel secure and stay on my shoulder. With its stylish croco look it doesn't look or feel like it is a laptop bag. When I do fill it up, it does get a little heavy but that is expected when carrying so much. Before this bag I would have had my laptop case and another bag full of books, papers, etc.
I received it exactly when it was due and had no issues with Amazon ordering (as usual). It is a large bag so be aware when ordering. They have a smaller version and other styles if large is not what you need.

I am so excited to receive this bag! I don't know if anyone else mentioned that the red interior is like a mircrofiber suede material. It is very soft and gives a soft touch to the bag. The bag is full of nicely placed compartments for your cell phone, pens, and other items. I can really see that I will not have to carry a separate handbag when I am out and about with this bag. My only wish is that it was real leather, but I think that would greatly inflate the price. You definitely get a nice bag for the price.

The Milano Large fits a 17" Mac Book Pro with plenty of room. The internal compartments make it easy to store all my computer accessories, mouse, cord, flash drive, external drive, etc. There is plenty of room for a padfolio, pens, business cards, etc and it matches nicely with my faux croc purse and wallet too. A good bag overall, looks like it has been well made. Was quite happy with the quality for the price you pay on Amazon.

I just received this bag two days ago, 3/21/07, and I'm happy with the quality and the size of it. It EASILY holds my Gateway 17" screen laptop...and all of the extras I need to carry. True, the vinyl doesn't look like real leather, but real leather would become spotted in wet weather whereas vinyl can just be wiped clean. One expectation I had that WAS NOT met: side-padding. The bottom of the bag has a little interior foam padding (and little metal feet on the exterior to protect the bottom of the bag when put on the ground), but the sides of the bag offer no additional padding, pockets for everything :) but no padding. This is my first computer bag, so maybe the bags aren't made for side impact, but I was expecting more protection from a laptop bag. If I ever need to take my computer on a lengthy trip, I'm going to put a folded towel around my laptop. I recommend the bag, but I wish it had more padding.

I have received so many compliments on my new computer case. It looks like a very expensive professional briefcase, but I didn't have to spend too much on it. It is very roomy. It allows me to carry files and other work along with my computer and it's accessories.
Unfortunately, I am only 5'4" and the long handles make it hit the floor. Not a problem, I just have to carry it on my shoulder.

This is a great looking bag. It's red on the inside and has room for all of your personal and professional things. It's functional. I didn't give it five stars because it's also very popular. If you are a fashion diva and like to be a trendsetter, this bag is not it. I purchased it just before starting a new position. On my first day I realized that half the department was carrying this bag. ugh!

The bag is great, I like how much deep it is. My macbook isa 13 inch and it fits great. It also fits other documents, folders, planners perfectly. I also like how it separates compartments for different things. It's a narrow handbag so water bottles or anything round barely fits. However, it's been a great travel bag. It fits under the front seat on the plane. Its comfy to hold on your shoulder and it doesnt slide around like a regular purse.

My daughter-in-law got a new laptop and I was unable to locate a bag that did not look like a briefcase,locally. She wanted something that looked similar to a pursse. When you have a widescreen laptop, you know that finding a bag that is stylish with the right dimensions can be tough. I was so glad when I came across this bag. As reported by other reviewers, that bag is not as tapered as the photo would indicate. It is more rectangular. The interior is nicer than expected. The red interior of the black bag makes it easy to find things in the roomy interior. It is a well made bag. Leather would have been nice, but I'm sure it would have made the bag price astronomical with the quantity needed for this size bag. The croc-embossed vinyl is high quality and I have no qualms about taking this bag anywhere. I'm a snob when it comes to material content, but this bag is a quality item and I would buy it again. If you need a bag for a large laptop, grab this one because you aren't going to find anything in this price range that is better. Recommended~!

but I would've liked if it had a glossy finish to it. It is HUGE so you have to be careful when you're around crowds. It fits my 16" twelve cell battery Toshiba quite nicely. I can fit my laptop with a sleeve on and still have room for my battery charger and extras. But beware that it will way a ton if you carry a lot in it. The straps dig into your shoulder after just a few minutes of wear so if you will be carrying this a lot on a daily basis then be adviced that it will not be comfortable. I mainly got it for the style but don't carry it much. The interior is a faux red suede lining with an attached wristlet. It has a key fob and yes it's rectangular in shape. Although for me at least the shape of the bag changes and begins to looks more like the picture with continual use. I like it but I was kind of put off by the size of the bag and I'm 5'7. I like how organized this is though.

This bag is massive. I ordered the large one because I wanted to make sure that I had enough space. Well, it turns out that this one had too much space and I had to return it for the smaller version. It would have been way too large for commuting on the train.
Further, the bag is very rectangular but I feel that the photos make it look more like a large handbag. I was definitely expecting something more "angled" on top.

I was so excited about this bag. The reviews, descriptions and photos were great and it is the correct size for my 17" computer. I was so dissapointed when it arrived. The material is so cheap. Yes, the design is very cute and the interior has great organization and room for everything. It's really too bad that the faux crocodile looks like plastic and the lining is low-quaility fabric. This is such a cute design I would have paid more to have the same style and design in higher qaility materials. It does not look very professional or like something that a successful person would carry due to the cheap plastic looking exterior, so I am returning the bag. I think Mobile Edge should make the same bag, keep the dust bag (nice touch) and the interior organization with higher quaility materials and they would have a success. I am going to make sure the bag I get is another brand and leather after seeing this one. The great thing is that Amazon makes returns so simple, so at least that will be easy and I will continue to buy from Amazon in the future.

I was so excited to get this bag, which I expected to be stylish and professional...however, it just looked like a very plain and huge purse. It was high quality, and the interior was very nice. However, I would have been completely embarrassed to lug this monster around.

The bag design is great. Holds my 17 in laptop great. Well designed, and sturdy. However the bag was a reject or second, and had a small tear on the bottom. Be sure to inspect carefully.

The pictures are very deceiving, when it arrived it was nothing like the picture. It was very stiff and square looking. It also looked and felt very plastic. It was very disappointing and the disappointment was magnified even more by the amount of time it took to receive the bag. I was not very impressed with Beach Camera and there customer service was very disappointing when I called to ask about the return. I encountered a somewhat surly representative that basically demanded a reason for my return with a snotty attitude. I will not order from them again.
